For Sale: 2001 Gibson Les Paul Custom – Alpine White (Aged Cream) w/ OHSC

Up for sale is a 2001 Gibson Les Paul Custom in Alpine White, complete with its original hard-shell case.

This is a great example of an early-2000s Les Paul Custom that has aged exactly how players hope they will. The original Alpine White finish has naturally mellowed into a beautiful cream color over time, giving the guitar a vintage-inspired look that pairs perfectly with the gold hardware and ebony fingerboard. These Customs are known for their solid build, smooth playability, and powerful tone, and this one delivers on all fronts.

Condition

This guitar is in very good condition (8.5/10).

It shows light scratches, dings, tarnish to the gold hardware, and finish checking along the binding. The finish has aged from Alpine White to a rich cream color, which adds a lot of visual character.

The pickup covers have been removed and the original black speed knobs have been replaced with amber speed knobs. The original covers and knobs are not included. The uncovered pickups and amber knobs give the guitar a more aggressive, classic look.

There are no cracks, breaks, or structural issues. The neck is straight, the frets are in excellent condition, and the guitar plays cleanly up and down the neck with no buzzing or dead spots. It has also been recently professionally set up and is ready to go.

The original Gibson hard-shell case is included and is in very good condition.

No paperwork is included with the guitar.
