Up for sale is a 2019 Gibson Custom Shop Historic ’54 Reissue Les Paul Custom Black Beauty, complete with its original hard-shell case and certificate of authenticity. This model captures the essence of the early “Black Beauty” design with its iconic P-90 bridge pickup and legendary Alnico V Staple pickup in the neck—one of Gibson’s most unique and expressive vintage configurations.

This is a killer example of a Historic ’54 reissue: lightweight, resonant, and full of that unmistakable Custom Shop mojo.

Condition: Very Good (8.5/10)

This guitar has been played and shows light, honest wear:

• Light scratches & small dings throughout

• Some minor cosmetic cracking from the nut along the sides of the headstock (approx. ½”).

  • These were fully glued and refinished in-house.

  • The cracks were cosmetic only, never structural or through the wood.

  • Refinish is extremely clean—only visible under blacklight.

Structurally the guitar is perfect. Neck is straight, action is smooth, and the guitar plays beautifully with no buzzing or dead spots.
