Up for sale is a beautiful and rare 1997 Fender Japan ’62 Reissue Stratocaster ST62-70TX in Shell Pink (SLP)—an off-catalog finish not commonly seen on these models. This Crafted in Japan (CIJ) Strat features factory-original USA Fender Texas Special pickups, delivering classic vintage bite with enhanced midrange presence.

This guitar is in excellent condition and performs flawlessly. It has only a few very light surface scratches and tiny dings from normal handling, earning it a solid 9/10 rating. It’s a clean example of a highly sought-after vintage-style CIJ Strat.

Everything on this guitar is 100% original. There are no cracks, repairs, or structural issues of any kind.

The neck is straight, the truss rod functions correctly, and the original frets are in excellent shape with only very minor wear. The guitar plays great with no buzzing or dead spots and has been professionally set up for ideal action and intonation.
