For sale is a 1977 Gibson Les Paul Custom Ebony (Maple Fingerboard) with the original case. This guitar is in good condition, and in perfect working order. There are scratches, dings, wear on the back, 3 screw holes on the top, and some wear to the finish on the top below the tailpiece. Overall, I would rate the condition a solid 7 out of 10. The guitar has marked a factory second on the back of the headstock. This is pretty common with Gibson guitars from this era as Gibson did not destroy their factory seconds as they do now. They have only marked a factory second from the factory because of cosmetic blemishes and nothing on the guitar is affected. With exception to the bridge and frets, everything on the guitar is original. There are no cracks, repairs, or issues. The neck is straight with no issues and plays great. The non-original frets are in excellent condition with no wear. The original case has some wear but works great.
