For sale is a 1968 Fender Telecaster in a beautiful Blonde with a non-original newer Fender hardshell case. This guitar has lots of wear and a number of modifications but is in perfect working order. There are scratches, dings, finish checking, and wear throughout. At one point this guitar had a humbucker, single coil, humbucker pickup configuration, and routing was done for it. It has since been put back and the middle has been filled as well as the bridge portion that was routed. Fortunately, most of this remains covered under the pickguard. Just below the bridge, there are 3 screw holes. There is a bit of wear to the maple fingerboard. Overall, I would rate the condition a solid 7 out of 10. The pickups, pickguard, nut, the frets have been replaced, and the body has been refinished or resprayed as the guitar still has its blonde finish. Everything else on the guitar is original. The neck is straight with no issues. Our luthier did a re-fret and full setup on this guitar and now it plays amazing. There is no buzzing or dead spots. The non-original Fender case works great with no issues.
