This rare and now-discontinued “Made in Japan” model was a limited domestic run exclusive to the Japanese market, finished in a stunning gloss Walnut with sleek black chrome hardware. Built with exceptional craftsmanship, this Jazz Bass is a standout both visually and tonally.

Constructed with an ash body and a maple neck topped with a slab rosewood fretboard, this JB62-WAL weighs in at 8lbs 10oz. The factory-installed single coil pickups deliver everything you'd expect from a great Jazz Bass—tight, burpy midrange and growling treble response from the bridge pickup, with smooth and round tones available from the neck. Professionally set up here at Guitar Chimp, it plays cleanly with low action and precise intonation.
