For sale is a 1988 Gibson Les Paul Custom in a beautiful Ebony Black Beauty with a non-original case. This guitar has been played and shows a good amount of wear, but is in perfect working order. There are scratches, dings, wear on the front and back of the guitar, wear on the back of the neck, finish checking on the back of the headstock by the tuners, and some finish chipping on the top of the guitar by the knobs. Overall, I would rate the condition a solid 7 out of 10. The pickups have replaced, but everything else looks to be original. There are no cracks, repairs, or issues. The neck is straight with no issues. The original frets do have some wear. The guitar has been set up by our luthier and there is no buzzing or dead spots. The non-original case works great. If you have been looking for an older player Les Paul Custom at an affordable price this will be the guitar for you.
