For sale is a 1979 Gibson Left-Handed ES-335TD in Walnut, complete with its original Gibson hard-shell case.
This vintage semi-hollow has been played and well-loved, delivering the warm, resonant tone that defines the ES-335 lineage. Loaded with the original Gibson Patent Number humbuckers—both dated to 1980—this guitar likely left the factory in early 1980, despite its 1979 serial number (serialized on the 274th day of 1979). To avoid confusion, we’re listing it as a 1979.
This left-handed 335 is a rare find, and it’s bursting with vibe, soul, and history. The tone is everything you’d expect—articulate and woody, with sweet sustain and excellent dynamics.
