Gibson Custom Shop ES-346 Paul Jackson Jr Signature Electric Guitar with original case. I do not have the COA or paperwork. Session guy, recording artist unto himself, and Tonight Show guitarist Paul Jackson Jr. was very deserving of his own signature guitar when, in the late 1990s, Gibson Custom Shop honored him by renaming it’s small-bodied ES-346 guitar as the Paul Jackson Jr. ES-346. This pre-owned example is in excellent condition with light scratches and a couple tiny dings. And, it plays like a guitar that’s been played and played…and played. Features include a one-piece mahogany back and a carved flame-maple top with a center block. The guitar’s mahogany neck has an ebony fretboard with a compound radius and split trapezoidal inlays. Further, the guitar benefits from a unique tapered, straight-string-pull headstock for significantly better tuning. Pickups are ’57 Classic humbuckers and the nitrocellulose finish is a striking Red finish. If looks, playability, tone, and great versatility are what you need, here’s a great guitar that, like its namesake, can’t be confined to a particular style of music.
