For Sale: 2011 ESP Edwards E-FV-125WB Michael Schenker Signature Flying V – Black/White w/ Gig Bag

Up for sale is a 2011 ESP Edwards E-FV-125WB Michael Schenker Signature Flying V in the classic Black and White finish, complete with a gig bag.

This is a very cool Japanese-market Edwards model built by ESP, based on Michael Schenker’s iconic black-and-white “Tuxedo” Flying V. These Edwards signature models are well known for their excellent build quality, strong specs, and great value, and this one is a particularly nice example. With its lightweight mahogany body, set neck construction, and Seymour Duncan pickup set, it delivers the kind of focused, powerful rock tone these models are known for.

Condition

This guitar is in excellent condition and I would rate it a solid 9.5/10. It shows only light scratches from very light use, and it still has the protective plastic on the pickguard. Please review all photos carefully for the most accurate representation of condition.

There are no cracks, breaks, or repairs. The neck is straight, the frets are in excellent shape, and the guitar plays cleanly up and down the neck with no buzzing or dead spots. It has also been recently professionally set up and is ready to go.

A gig bag is included.

Electronics & Features

One of the standout features of this model is the Seymour Duncan pickup combination. The SH-5 Custom in the bridge gives the guitar plenty of punch, bite, and authority, while the SH-1n ’59 in the neck adds warmth, clarity, and a smoother lead voice. It is a very versatile setup for hard rock and classic metal, but it also cleans up nicely when needed.

These Edwards models are especially appealing because they offer excellent Japanese build quality and high-end appointments without the price tag of a comparable USA-made signature model. For players who want the Michael Schenker visual style and feel in a truly gig-ready instrument, this is a great option.

Tone & Feel

This guitar has the lively, immediate response you want from a good Flying V. The mahogany body and set neck construction give it warmth and sustain, while the Duncan pickups keep the sound focused and articulate with plenty of output on tap.

At just 6 lbs 6 oz, it is especially lightweight and comfortable for a Flying V, which makes it a very easy guitar to play for long sessions. It has the kind of fast, responsive feel that makes it easy to bond with right away.
