For Sale: 2010 Gibson Memphis ES-335 Dot Satin – Trans Black w/ OHSC & COA

Up for sale is a 2010 Gibson Memphis ES-335 Dot Satin in Trans Black, complete with its original hard-shell case and certificate of authenticity.

This is a very nice example of Gibson Memphis’s satin-finished ES-335, offering the classic semi-hollow 335 design with a slightly more understated look and feel than a gloss model. The Trans Black satin nitro finish looks especially sharp on these, and the guitar has all of the core features players want, including a mahogany 1960 Slim Taper neck, rosewood fingerboard, and a pair of ’57 Classic humbuckers.

Condition

This guitar is in excellent condition and I would rate it a solid 9/10. It shows only light scratches, a small amount of clear coat wear, and a few spots where the satin finish has become a little shiny from normal playwear. Please review all photos carefully for the most accurate representation of condition.

There are no cracks, breaks, or repairs. The neck is straight, the frets are in excellent shape, and the guitar plays cleanly up and down the neck with no issues. It has also been recently professionally set up and is ready to go.

The original hard-shell case and certificate of authenticity are both included.

At 7 lbs 14 oz, it is also a comfortable weight for a 335.
