Up for sale is a 1998 Fender CIJ Japan Telecaster Custom TLC-62B ’62 Reissue in 3-Tone Sunburst, featuring upgraded Seymour Duncan STL-2 and STR-2 pickups and upgraded bridge saddles. This model was part of Fender Japan’s celebrated Crafted in Japan era, known for producing some of the highest-quality vintage reissues outside of the USA.

Includes a non-original gig bag (with two broken zippers, but still fully functional).

Condition

• Very Good – 8.5/10

• Light scratches and dings throughout (see photos)

• Wear/tarnish on hardware

• Neck joint has some finish checking

• Clear coat on back of the neck has been sanded smooth for a faster, non-sticky feel

Professionally set up and ready to play with low action and excellent intonation. The neck is straight, and there are no dead spots or buzzing.
