For Sale: 1996 Rickenbacker 325V59 – Jetglo w/ HSC

Up for sale is a 1996 Rickenbacker 325V59 in Jetglo, complete with a non-original hard-shell case. The case is in very good condition and works great.

This is a very cool and iconic short-scale Rickenbacker model with unmistakable vintage-inspired style and feel. The 325V59 is closely associated with some of the most recognizable tones and looks in rock history, and it remains one of Rickenbacker’s most distinctive models. With its compact body, short-scale neck, and classic Jetglo finish, this one has all the charm and personality that makes these so desirable to players and collectors alike.

Condition

This guitar is in very good condition and I would rate it a solid 7.5/10. It shows scratches, dings, some wear on the back, and a small amount of finish checking at the neck joint. The checking is only in the clear coat. Please review all photos carefully for the most accurate representation of condition.

This guitar has had a few John Lennon-style modifications made to it. The knobs have been replaced with Burns-style knobs, the bridge has been replaced with a bow tie bridge, and the top portion of the pickguard has been removed. The original replaced parts are not included.

Everything else appears to be original. There are no cracks, breaks, or repairs. The neck is straight and stable, the frets are in excellent condition, and the guitar plays cleanly up and down the neck with no buzzing or dead spots. It has also been recently professionally set up and is ready to go.

The non-original hard-shell case is included.
