For sale is a used 1987 Marshall 2555 Silver Jubilee 25/50 Anniversary 100 Watt Tube Head. Don't confuse this for the reissue as it is the real deal for 1987 and in my opinion is a completely different amp. This amp stands toe to toe with the 67/68 Plexi and the JTM45/Bluesbreaker as the rarest and most tonally revered/sought after Marshall amps ever made. The amp is 2 channels, foot-switchable, and gives you everything you could ask for from great cleans to Marshall grind at either 100 or 50 watts. FX loop and two push/pull pots for clipping and channel switching options when not using a footswitch. This head has been played but is in very good condition and in perfect working order. There is wear to the tolex and it's missing the little plastic anniversary badge that goes on the front upper left of the amp. Everything on the amp is original. The tubes have plenty of life left in them. A power cable will be included.
