For sale is a 1985 Gibson Les Paul Spotlight Special ASB Antique Sunburst with the original case. This guitar has been played but is in very good condition and in perfect working order. There are some scratches, dings throughout, tarnish and wear to the gold hardware, wear on the back, and some finish checking throughout. Overall, I would rate the condition a solid 7.5 out of 10. The guitar has marked a factory second on the back of the headstock. This is pretty common with Gibson guitars from this era as Gibson did not destroy their factory seconds as they do now. They have only marked a factory second from the factory because of cosmetic blemishes and nothing on the guitar is affected. Aside from the plastic pickup rings, and some screws, everything on the guitar is original. There are no cracks, repairs, or issues. The neck is straight with no issues. The original frets do have some wear, but there is no buzzing or dead spots and the guitar plays great. The original case has a little wear but works great.
