For sale is a "Fullerton Era" 1983 Fender American 1962 Reissue Jazz Bass in a beautiful Fiesta Red with original case. If you are looking at this listing, than you probably already know just how rare and amazing this bass is. This bass was made in the old Fender Fullerton factory before it burned down. "Fullerton Era" Fender reissue guitars and basses are regarded as the best reissues Fender has ever made. The original Fiesta Red finish was a custom color making it even more rare. This bass has been played, is in very good condition, and in perfect working order. There are lots of scratches, dings, finish checking, and spots throughout where the paint is chipping. If you did not know any better, this bass would pass for a real 1962 Jazz bass. This bass appears to have been owned by a school at one point as it's inscribed on the neck plate. Overall, I would give it a solid 7.5 out of 10 condition. Everything on the bass is original. The bridge pickup is a very rare Fender red bobbin pickup. There are no cracks, repairs, or issues. The neck is straight with no issues and plays great. The original frets are in excellent condition with no wear. The original case has lots of where, but works great.
