1960 Gibson Les Paul JR -LOTS OF MODS- - is currently on backorder. You may still purchase now though and we'll ship as soon as more become available.

For sale is a 1960 Gibson Les Paul JR with a non-original Gibson case. This guitar has been played, has a number of modifications, and has tons of vintage player vibe. There are lots of scratches, dings, and finish checking throughout. There is spot on the back of the head-stock that at first glance looked like a head-stock repair, but upon further inspection it does not appear to go all the way through and looks like a scratch. There are two repaired cracks by the neck joint as well. The full-scale neck on this guitar is straight, with no issues, and plays great with the re-fret. A lot of these guitars with original frets are very worn, while this guitar has only very minor fret-wear. The non-original Gibson case works great.

At one point there where extra electronics, so there are now extra plugged holes from where those used to be. The electronics cavity on the back was routed wider to accommodate those electronics, Also this guitar appears to have been converted to a Special at one point and then converted back to a JR, so there is routing for a neck pickup under the non original pick-guard. It looks like the bridge was moved at one point and the guitar also has evidence that it once had a Bigsby installed as there are filled holes on the top from it.

The pickup, bridge, tuners, pots, capacitor, pick-guard, and knobs have all been replaced.

If you've ever wanted one of these as a player and didn't want to fork over the 5-8K, don't miss this opportunity to snag this one up, before it's gone.
