For sale is a 1983 Gibson Custom Shop Heritage Korina Explorer with a non-original case. This guitar is in good condition and in perfect working order. There are some scratches, dings, lots of finish checking, wear on the front and back of the guitar, and some chipping of the clear coat on the front and back of the headstock. Overall, I would rate the condition a solid 7.5 out of 10. The bridge, tail-piece, and frets have been replaced on the guitar. Everything else on the guitar including the highly coveted Tim Shaw pickups is original. There are no cracks, repairs, or issues. The neck is straight with no issues. The non-original frets are in excellent condition with no wear. There is no buzzing or dead spots. The non-original case has a but if wear and a broken handle, but works great.
