1966 Gibson Sg Standard Cherry ~Players Guitar~ - is currently on backorder. You may still purchase now though and we'll ship as soon as more become available.
For sale is a 1966 Gibson Sg Standard in Cherry with the original case. This guitar has had a number of modifications but is in very good condition and in perfect working order. There are scratches, dings, and finish checking throughout. Overall, I would rate the condition, a solid 8.5 out of 10. The bridge pickup has been replaced with a vintage Dimarzio. The neck pickup appears to be original. The guitar has had a full refinish. The refinish was done very well but during the process, the serial number was sanded and finished over.  The tuners have been replaced, as well as the bridge, truss rod cover, strap buttons, knobs, and nut. The guitar has been re-fretted so the new frets are in excellent condition with no wear. There are no date codes on the pots, but they do look original. Everything else on the guitar looks to be original. There are no cracks, repairs, or issues. The neck is straight with no issues and plays great. The original case has a little wear but works great.
