For sale is a 2006 Gibson Custom Shop John Sykes Les Paul Custom VOS Electric Guitar with the original case. The John Sykes Les Paul Custom VOS Electric Guitar re-creates Sykes number one instrument--a 1978 Les Paul Custom--and includes the modifications John has made to his instrument over his years of playing with Tygers of Pan Tang, Whitesnake, and Thin Lizzy.

Like all VOS (Vintage Original Spec) Series instruments, the John Sykes Les Paul Custom VOS is handcrafted for comfort and playability in the Gibson Custom Shop. The construction, neck profile, hardware, and electronics are period accurate, except for Sykes' modifications, and a special nitrocellulose finish treatment gives it the patina of a gently aged vintage guitar

This guitar is excellent condition, and in perfect working order. There are some light scratches and a few dings. Overall, I would rate the condition a solid 9 out of 10. Everything on the guitar is original. There are no cracks, repairs, or issues. The neck is straight with no issues and plays great. The original frets are in excellent condition with only very minor wear. The original case works great. Unfortunately, we do not have the certificate of authenticity.
