As seen in the video is a 1981 Gibson Les Paul Custom in Alpine White with the original hard-shell case. This guitar is in good condition, and in perfect working order. There are some scratches, dings, finish checking, and wear on the back. Overall, I would rate the condition a solid 7.5 out of 10. A number of items on this guitar have been replaced. The pickups have been replaced with a Homewrecker Slowburn and Valentina. The pickups where modeled after Gibson T-tops and sound fantastic. Homewrecker makes boutique pickups and this set cost about $400. The pots and capacitors have been changed out and shielding has been added to the electronics cavity. The shielding is foil and could easily be removed but I would recommend leaving it. The nut has been replaced and the guitar has been re-fretted to insurance it plays fantastic. When we got the guitar it had a different set of tuners on it and at one point had locking Sperzel tuners. The Sperzels leave a small extra hole in the middle of the tuner. I had a set of the original Schaller tuners so I put them on this guitar. They cover up the small holes from the Sperzel tuners and you can not even tell anymore as it now has what the guitar would have come with. Everything else on the guitar is original. I do not have any of the original replaced parts. There are no cracks, repairs, or issues. The neck is straight with no issues and plays great. The non-original frets are in excellent condition with no wear. There is no buzzing or dead spots. This is a solid player guitar with many upgrades with the player in mind.
